In this Blog Inspiring People and Places, and My Art Creations Too… I will be telling you the details of an amazing Artist, Wiltshire, who has been Travelling and Creating Art, in New York and many other Countries, most of his Life. We then decide if Art has Value to the Individual, if So? Why and How?. I have chosen Two Countries, with different Architecture and Histories to tell you about. To be Honest these are my favourite places I would Like to visit, and of course New York. I think Paris and these Three countries are the Places I would Love to live in, if it was possible for me. I have made, Four Paintings to share, in this blog, which relate to this explanation. I think you will enjoy this Blog.
The Big Apple, New York, CITY, on The Artist-Wiltshire–Wiltshire shows the Journey of his work, as a Timeline for His Life. “As I developed as a person, my Artwork Developed with Me. As I got older, wiser and more mature, so has my work. I think that my Artwork, has progressed well, over time, through my Experiences. My Art is My Life History” When in 1988, Wiltshire travelled to New York, CITY, he then made New York his Second home. New York to Him, was Noisy, energetic, Bright lights, and so much more. He was deeply Captivated, by the Atmosphere and the Beautiful Skyscrapers, and the Architecture.
Inspiring People and Places–Wiltshire’s first trip, to New York, gave him, the Love to Travel. This Interest and passion for drawing, Urban Landscapes, then began. He gathers in his Mind, Detail and Perspective, Well. With these References in his Brain, he makes a Pencil sketch of the area. Then takes a Staedtler pen, his tool of choice and then adds the other details.
In some Cities, at special drawing events, he can be observed at Art Creating. Wiltshire’s best part of the Art Work, is the Finish of the Painting. He draws every day, a Specific piece, or just for his Own pleasure. He say’s you Must do the Best You Can, for Your Pleasure, and Never Stop doing. Concluding You, As the Artist, Must Hold Yourself, Accountable.
Yes, Wiltshire is Autistic, and it was his drawing that, helped him connect greatly, with people. Art is a Language we can all understand, makes No difference, which country we come from. He continues to Travel greatly, and keeps on drawing.
I hope you see how Art can, connect and make a difference in the Lives of Artists, and People at their, particular Place in time and in their, Health. Art makes people, Happy, Productive and Motivates People in all Areas of their Lives, and in their Life’s Progress. ? What is Greater?, than Art???… Go On, You Give, Art A Go, You will be Delighted Beyond Belief. ( Above information, taken from The Artist’s Network, on 01.3.2020. )

The 15 Essentials for Art Creating, are the Building blocks that are the Key to the Principles of Art, which will take you from a Beginner Artist, to the Master of Art…
You will First need to understand AND PRACTICE YOUR CHOSEN ART FORM. These Key concepts are the Elements of art, like Colour, line and the Principles of art. Which are Proportion, rhythm, contrast and a Few other Art principles. All of these combinations, are what gives, All Artists, the Fluency and Greatness, in All their Art Creations.

Websites: For The Elements and Principles of Art.
The Colours– Three elements that are Very important, to Colours, are, in the way, as an Artist you use the Colours, their Hue, value and intensity…
The explanation for these are–Hue is the Colour. Value is the Hue’s lightness or darkness, and changes when White or black is added to the Colour, YOU Choose. Intensity is the Aspect of the Brightness and Purity of a colour. High Intensity Colours are, bold and bright. Low Intensity colours are Faint and dull…
The Mask-Carnivale in Venice. Watercolour. Marie. Crimi. 2020.
In the above painting, the Mask… the Watercolours I have used in this painting are the Creative Watercolours. The Watercolours are Alive, Bright colours, they give a texture, of a Colourful refined, and Gorgeous occasion. This can be sensed, and gives you the, urgent need to touch this painting. This painting uses the Hue, which represents the Colours, and the Value factor, of both Light and darkness of colours. Finally, the Intensity shows perfectly, the Boldness of the bright colours. Their are Faint parts of colour, in this painting, which further gives the Intensity of Calmness and mystery, to this painting. We can agree that Colour is a Highly Determining Factor in any ART Creation?…
Rose Tattoo Girl and Japanese Girl. Watercolours. Marie. Crimi. 2020.
In the above painting Rose Tattoo Girl and Japanese Girl, is made using the Anko Watercolours, and we can see that the effect of the Hue and Colours, are very Low, faint and Dull. Actually these colours, have their own amazing impact, too. I notice these Colours although of no significance, do Draw appeal to the paintings, by Appearing well Proportioned, interesting and very Professional. I think it is safe to say, that maybe different types of colour medium, the Watercolours in both the above paintings, which are produced by entirely different Manufacturers, do make a Big Difference to Art Work, and to their Art Audience’s Appeal. People are attracted, to Art Creations for different reasons.
The Form–Is, for Painters and draftsmen, the Element of art, which makes a Three-dimensional form, into a Two dimensional Form. This is the Heart of an Art object, it can show a Volume, includes Height, Width and Depth. An example is a Cube, a sphere, a cylinder and a pyramid, these are All examples, of different objects. Remember that Objects, can be formless–that is Abstracted or free flowing.
The Line–Marks made on a Page are called lines. Starting at a Point, and moving further along, Creating space, the lines move around on the paper. Lines can be a Two dimensional or three dimensional, which describe the form, it can be Abstract or implied. You can create a series of Parallel lines to Show a form–The technique is called Hatching. Cross hatching show, more than One set of lines, which lie on top off each other, which show off, a Model, and also show off the Tone, of an Object.
The shape–This element is Two dimensional, either Flat or limited to height and width. Usually it is a Shape, which is an enclosed, structure.
The Space–Is the Element of art, in which Both Positive and negative areas are Defined. This is where a Sense of depth is achieved, in an Art Creation.
The Texture–This Aspect of art, shows how an Art object or an element in a Composition feels, check out–(https://www.artistsnetwork.com/art-mediums/watercolour/7-tools-for-texture-in-watercolour/). The look of this, is how it would feel if you were to touch it.
The Principles of Art–The elements of Art are your Tools?…Then the Principles of Art, Are How you combine These Tools together, to work in Creating a Genius, Unique Art Creation. This is where the Style, of the Art uses the mediums, (TOOLS) – to create, Rhythm, harmony, balance, contrast, variety, movement, and Proportion, in the Art Creation.
Half Face, Full Face, Fancy Leaves, Stylised Trees. Watercolours. Marie. Crimi. 2020.
This above painting, Half Face, Full Face… Is made in Watercolours, the Datto Colours, the Colours seem to be Lifeless colours and to give Low appeal to the Painting. When we look Closer at this Art Creation, we can see that the Applying of the colours in Lightness, and then Working over colours, gives the appearance of a Unique Art Creation, that actually Appears to the Observer, as Highly Interesting, and engaging, and Has Excellent, Professional Determination… Also The Shapes of the Faces, and then the Leaves and lastly the trees, are an Amazing way to have made, this Unique and Genius Example, of a Highly Appealing Art Work. I Notice, that the Medium are one part of the Artwork , and also the Artists ideas and Thought processes, she uses to Make an Original Unique Art creation Each time?..
Leaves from the Autumn, of Life… . Acrylics. Marie. Crimi. 2020.
In the above Painting, Leaves, from the Autumn of Life… Is made in Anko Acrylic Paints, on Watercolour, Acid free, Creative Paper. The next paragraph explains, what this painting is about, and why and how?, it is made the way it is.
The painting, uses the Principles of Art, which are the TOOLS, which are a Combination of Repetition of Plants, in this case represent my family, members. It uses different mediums, which gives the impression of an amazing landscape, a plant landscape. It has a Rhythm, continuity, through the painting, which gives Harmony and flow over the whole page. This gives to the Art Creation, Pure JOY?, there Is, NO, Monotony? or chaos, in this Original, Unique, Genius Art Work. Colours are a few Bright colours, also the low Intensity colours, like so much Black and other Dark colours, actually, Work in Combination and the painting, is Excellent… To be honest, I am very surprised, it has turned out so good, I hope you like too?…
Let me Explain these Principles–Rhythm, describes the Combination of a Variety, of mediums or Tools, which are Put on the page, to Create a Visual, landscape, which gives the Vision and the scope, to the Art Creation. Harmony is when Elements of an artwork are combined in a Synergistic way. Some Look, and feel similar, but there is no Monotony or chaos. Only the Perfect combining of the two or more Mediums. Purely for the Joy OF, appealing, to the Artist’s Audience. Balance is all about combining The Art Elements, to add a Feeling of stability, which are achieved, Both, through Symmetry and Asymmetry.
In Contrast–The Artists will combine Elements, to give those similar Elements as a whole piece. In Movement, the look and feeling give an, action feeling to the Art Creation. This is made by varying lines, and in the repetition of the Elements, also the use of Gestural mark making among many other methods… In Pattern, The same repetition of an element of art or in a combination of Elements. Remember anything can be turned into a pattern by using the method of Repetition. Where in Proportion, the Elements and Principles determine the Relationship of the Elements, on the Art Paper. We acknowledge that Variety is the Combining, in Using, the variety of, Colours, Sizes and shapes in an Original work of Art.
Texts on the Principles and Elements of Art Work.
Remember to use the Elements and Principles of Art, in Your next Creative Genius Artwork. Make it your best Art Creation. So Be It, the Art Work, You CAN BE Proudest OF… From this point, on in your newer ART Career…
In Concluding, The Elements and Principles of Art, or Art Creating, it is wise and knowledgeable to say, YES, that the Elements and Principles of art are an Important, part of Making Unique Genius, Art Work. When the Art Tools, of Media, medium, are used to combine, in synergy, to give high appeal to the Art work, through combining of Colour, shapes, forms, lines, which are used, to give the WOW factor, to a unique, Art Work. In order to appeal greatly, to a Prospective Art audience. Then hopefully leading to Art Sales, for The Artist…
I think we should all as Artists, at least have a look into this important necessity, for Improving, and hopefully making all, Greater and Genius Art Works, that will have the appeal we wish for, and Lead Art Buyers, to our Art Businesses, and into OUR, Art Careers…

In this Blog on Inktober, 2019, I explain to you what Inktober actually Is, and I hope the information helps you to think about contributing to the 2020, Inktober Challenge. I attempted Inktober, 2019 for the first time. I will tell you about the method I used for Inktober that actually made me, meet the challenge, for the first time. I will show you the Art Work I Created. Actually you will see, as long as you stay true, to creating your way for the month of October, every year, you will be greatly rewarded for your effort, as a true Artist.
Inktober by Mr Jake Parker, 31 Days, 31 Drawings, Inktober. Every October, artists all over the world take on the Inktober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month in October. Mr Jake Parker, created Inktober in 2009, as a challenge to improve his inking skills, and to develop positive drawing habits. Since 2009, Inktober has grown, worldwide, with thousands of artists taking on this Month Long Challenge, every year. Parker say’s that anyone can do Inktober, all you need to do is pick up the Inktober Rules.

Inktober, is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so the more you are consistent, the greater your work improves.
My method for doing the Inktober, 2019, I did not follow the Inktober Rules, I made my own rules, to suit my time and style of making Creative Art.
Every Monday morning around 10am, I would sit in my Art Studio, and search the internet for free photo stock. I chose this year, to search for Flowers and People, photos, to get ideas to draw, in 2b Eco pencil, in my style and technique.
I would draw, Six different pictures, in my art style in pencil, on each art notebook page. When I drew all the pictures on each page, I would trace over the Picture in Sharpie–fine black Marker. The next morning at 11am, I would sit in my Art studio, and Colour the page in Watercolours, and the next days, to complete the Six pages in a week.
On Monday morning, I would start the above method for the next week again, for the Six days. The first 15 days, I used this method and made my pictures of flowers.
The next 16 days, the free photo stock pictures I searched for were, for People pictures. I drew them also in 2b Eco pencil. Then I used Sharpie Thick–Coloured Markers. Then each day, I would Colour the pictures in, Pearl Watercolour, Colours. If you look at the paintings, you will see the Different effect in, the Different media I used. It, Does make a difference, to the Art Creations I made For this Inktober, 2019.
Note that I have only picked out Eight paintings, in each method used, to give you an idea, of what I Art Created. I think you can see that the Style looks the same for all the paintings. I think that the Technique of the Media used give, a very different result, so I think we can say, that indeed, the Materials used in Art Creating, Does give paintings, a Totally different result…To the Paintings.
Basic Watercolour, Colours, used, in the following Paintings.
The following, Paintings, use Pearl–Watercolours, do notice the different effect in these paintings.
The following pictures are a few of the initial drawings, for the Inktober, 2019, for the above Paintings. The drawings, initially were made in a 2b Eco Pencil.
That is all, this year Inktober is over. Next Year YOU, make something beautiful for Inktober, 2020… and Share and Beyond for Inktobers…

It was in 1666, that Isaac Newton’s Theory of Colour, and the Primary colours was introduced.
After Newton’s Colour Theory, Moses Harris created the First colour wheel, Red, blue, yellow, as the Primary colours.
In the early Twentieth century, the German painter Johannes Itten, added the Secondary and Tertiary colours. Also gave us the Idea of the, Warm and the Cool colours, and the fact, that these Shades have Either the Warm or a Cool base.
